CRYSIS 360?
Would have loved to see this ported over to the 360. Looks like this is not going to happen now.... This is the killer app on the PC at the moment, it needs some serious juice. The simple answer is that the Xbox 360 can't take it

SOMETHING TO PLAY?
This is a slow time of year for games, just after the Christmas rush and I can't really find anything of interest to play. Playing call of Duty 4 which is truly fantastic, despite spending most of my time getting blown up with the infamous M grenade on headquarters. The frantic pace of COD 4 may not be to everyone's liking. It has been a steep learning curve after switching from R6V. The K/D ratio speaks for itself. Gonna stick with it tho, that's if I can get anytime on the 360.
Might give the Orange box and Mass Effect a try, just to see what all the fuss is about. I have my reservations.
A word about Halo 3. This game will probably never see the light of day again. Graphically the game has impressive visuals but no real substance. The most enjoyable part for me, was probably completing legendary on co-op. That doesn't say much about multiplayer, at least we got to see master chief finish the fight.

HOLIDAY VISITS
This is my young cousin who has been visiting and using my 360 for the past week. Earned A 95% stealth Commander rating on Splintercell: Double Agent, shame he didn't do it in my profile...lol

All we need now is MKV support Matroska which is new container format that allows high definition video to be used with the right codec.
NEW DASH UPDATE....
Xbox Live got a new dashboard update which has added a number of features. The best of which is that the Xbox 360 has now got support for divx/xvid/mp4 playback from various sources, including streaming using a number of transcoders that are available on the net from your PC.
